If you have found your way to this page, HUGE congratulations on the birth of your tiny human! As you enter this new (and a little bit tiring) stage of your life, keeping fit and healthy is more important than ever.
You’re going to need an almost super-human strength, both mentally and physically, to deal with carrying car seats up flights of stairs, nursing baby, changing nappy after nappy, cooking one-handed with a baby on your hip, and to endure yet another sleepless night.
Just like babies, you need to learn to walk before you can run. Returning too early, and too hard, to fitness without allowing the body time to recover can do much more damage than you think.
WHAT IS WONDER WOMUM?
Wonder WoMUM is a post natal restorative course using Pilates and rehabilitative principles to help you reclaim, heal, understand, and even love your body after pregnancy and birth.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Any new mamma will benefit from Wonder WoMUM. This is a foundation level course so it’s suitable for all mammas no matter the age of your baby. But if you are a new mum and find yourself with niggles, aches and pains or with specific conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, lower back pain, shoulder issues, tight hips, weak gluteals or anything in between, then this recovery programme is for you.
So much more than just a ‘class’, Wonder WoMUM helps you become aware of what is happening in your own body, and teaches you how to connect, align, and rebuild true strength and stability from the inside out with weekly lessons that will serve you not just now, but for the rest of your life.
HOW LONG IS IT?
This foundation course is 6 weeks long. Classes are held virtually and videos of classes shared with participants too (the tiny humans are cute, but unpredictable and we know you can't always make every class at the same time) s in case you missed it class or for a little bit of homework if you have the time.
