Hey Mamma's!

Retraining the body is about redeveloping strength and fitness and ideally comes after you have completed our rehab programme Wonder WoMUM.

 

Women often think that jumping straight into intense training is the fastest way to getting their body back after pregnancy and childbirth.  

 

It’s not.

 

The seemingly longer, slower path is actually the fastest way.  Rest, recovery, and rehab are the keys to getting back to retraining the body to function well for the long term.  It may take a little more time in the beginning, but returning too quickly to intense exercise so you can fit back into your favourite jeans will create more problems than it solves.  Long term wellness is our goal.

WHAT IS STRONG MAMMA?

Strong Mamma followS a progressive, appropriately challenging, full body strength training protocol, paired with lots of general movement and walking to redevelop muscle strength & conditioning as well as that all important mind muscle connection.  When you are ready, we add in interval training cardiovascular workouts.

 

But we also know that you want to sweat, so we make sure this programme is intense enough so you feel like you’ve done a session.

 

We want to help you get back to the intense level you used to work at as quickly as we can possibly get you there, but in the safest way too.

 

WHO IS IT FOR?

Strong Mamma is for any mum who is looking to take the next step into being fit and strong after baby.  It's a natural progression of our Wonder WoMUM course but takes you into the strength & conditioning arena of fitness so we can help you get back to your pre-pregnancy self as fast as you can but as safely as we can too.  Strong Mamma will work you appropriately hard whilst giving alternatives for those of you who need it . The perfect combination of conditioning and cardio to tick all the boxes on your safe postnatal fitness journey.

HOW LONG IS IT?

This course is 8 weeks long.  

WHAT TIME ARE SESSIONS AT?

We are currently offering  STRONG MAMMA in a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 environment, in line with Covid-19 restrictions.  Strong Mamma works to your schedule. We mutually agree times each week to suit around your schedule and bubba's too.
